The following consists of thoughts, I had moments ago. As I tried to formulate a way to tackle the unutterable. Clairvoyance came forth via poetic expression.
Purgatory – a place or condition of temporary punishment meant to cleanse those destined for heaven but not quite ready for it.
Mere definition
Can render a word
Meaningless
But, in my being I feel it.
Consume it, breathe it.
Conceive its nothingness,
Of being cast amongst the invisible
Slightly above
Stagnation…
An internal crossroad
Absorption’s
Plain stationed
Cannot
Move along any further
Or am I drifting into the unseen
Guiding me to believe
What cannot be put into words
Giving me flight
So I can be what I yearn
A lone bird
As I try to soar
I’m reminded of my cage
Circling thoughts
Gives me freedom
Yet, to them
I am enslaved.
Wondering in between
Mental states
Imagination’s the sleigh
As I roam through
Various compartments
Never dormant
I’m fully conscious
Aware
Riddles
Intertwined
With answers
Upon Layers……

I remember as an adolescent, I couldn’t fathom being an adult. It seemed light years ahead of me. Something I’d never mature, to be. I believe I was afraid of getting older because my imagination couldn’t conjure up anything. So I told myself it was an impossibility, I’d never live to see.
At this point in my life, inwardly, again I am that little girl.
I truly cannot see my future, or where I am going. I don’t know whether I should be elated, scared or disappointed.
Elated….. because to have no vision, is to be blind with a sense of realism. You’re not trapped inside of a picture trying to find unrealistic scenery. It seldom crosses one’s mind, what they’re looking for doesn’t exist or meant to be because their vision is limited.
Scared because if I cannot see it. How will it come to pass? Whatever “IT” is.
Disappointed because I usually have the answer for everything. This isn’t like me, yet it’s a part of my growth.
Currently, living the unseen, no direction of where I’m headed or supposed to be going.
This is my purgatory……
Preparing me
Journey to heaven.
